R 4 Revolution is a blog created by two Chicago-based organizers who want to help our colleagues and comrades move from data-fearing to data-driven.

We do not believe that data can replace door knocking, human conversations, or direct action—that’s not our goal. What we do believe is that organizers can use data and data science to approach our issues, our communities, and get resources where they need to be. In this blog, we hope to bring our allies and comrades into the world of data science, and use it to multiply the impact of our work.
